Type your total marks out of 100 — grade and points are derived automatically: 90+ = O (10), 80–89 = A+ (9), 70–79 = A (8), 60–69 = B+ (7), 50–59 = B (6), 40–49 = C (5), 35–39 = P (4), below 35 = F (0). Percentage ≈ (SGPA − 0.75) × 10. NUES papers (evaluated by teacher, no term-end exam) still carry credits and count in SGPA.
How is SGPA calculated?
SGPA = Σ(credits × grade points) ÷ Σ(credits) for all papers in the semester — including labs and NUES papers, which carry credits. F (fail) gets 0 points in that semester.
How is CGPA calculated?
CGPA = Σ(SGPA × semester credits) ÷ Σ(semester credits) — i.e. credit-weighted average of all your SGPAs. You must earn the minimum credits specified in the scheme to qualify for the degree.
