06Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions every USICT student asks.

Is this the official GGSIPU website?+

No — ONE USICT is an independent, student-made resource. For anything official, always check ipu.ac.in or the USICT school page.

Where can I find my syllabus?+

Open Streams, pick your branch, and the complete 2025-26 scheme with semester-wise papers is listed there. Every paper links to its own subject page.

Are the notes and PYQs updated regularly?+

Yes — notes and previous year papers are collected from the student community and refreshed automatically from their sources.

Where do the notices come from?+

Every notice on this site is auto-scraped daily from ipu.ac.in — exam datesheets, results, admissions, fees and holidays. New items stay flagged for a week.

How do I check my semester result?+

Results are published on the official GGSIPU exam portal (examweb.ggsipu.ac.in) — enter your enrollment number and PIN. You can also see result notices under Exams.

How is SGPA / CGPA calculated?+

IPU uses a 10-point grading scale (O = 10 to P = 4). SGPA = Σ(credits × grade points) ÷ Σ(credits) for a semester; CGPA is the credit-weighted average of all SGPAs. Percentage ≈ (CGPA − 0.75) × 10. Use the calculator on the Result page.

Where can I ask doubts and connect with other USICT students?+

Join the USICT 2026 community on WhatsApp — the link is right on the home page. Doubt solving, announcements and seniors' help.
