A plain-language version of the usual legalese — because a student resource shouldn't need a lawyer to explain itself.
01The short version
ONE USICT is a student-built resource. We don't have accounts, we don't track you around the web, and we don't sell anything — least of all your data.
02What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no personal information is requested, and no cookies are set for advertising or analytics. The only passive data that may reach our hosting provider is standard server logs — IP address, browser type and pages viewed — which are used solely to keep the site running and diagnose errors, and are never shared.
If you use the theme toggle, your preference is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.
03Notes, PYQs and third-party links
Study material on this site is hosted by third-party services (such as dotnotes.in and Cloudflare R2) and opens in a new tab. Official notices link out to ipu.ac.in PDFs. Once you leave this site, those websites' own terms and privacy policies apply — we don't control them and can't be responsible for them.
04Where the data comes from
The content on this site is fetched from a handful of public sources and refreshes automatically:
Notes and previous year papers are fetched live from dotnotes.in and refresh automatically. Download links are re-signed on demand, so they never expire.
A USICT-specific study archive with notes, PYQs and books — linked from the study material and source notes on this site.
The official university website. Scheme annexures (6a–6f, 2025-26) were parsed into the subject pages, student-relevant notices are scraped from here daily, and the faculty directory mirrors the official USICT faculty page.
The official results portal — linked from the footer and the SGPA calculator for checking semester results.
05Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page. Because this is a student project, the practical answer is: if a future version starts collecting anything, we'll say so plainly.
